Travelling the tube reflections, new mosque in Brent

Today as I headed once again into the bowels of lower London it occurred to me that in terms of evolution, humankind has progressed remarkably towards our fellow insects – the ant.

WHAT DO I STAND FOR?

Accountability in the Muslim Community - the Muslim community is facing unprecedented challenges. A shortage of scholars in our leadership, the flooding of the media with incorrect and ignorant or misleading interpretations of Islam, and an insidious global influence from political movements utilising twisted interpretations of Salafi ideology.
Climate Change - we must look at affordable realistic solutions to replace coal and oil fuel and training to help our farmers care for this fragile land. Geoff Lawton has a lot to contribute for sustainability in the environment and agriculture.

Integrated Diversity - a new view on recognising the diverse nature of our society and providing a platform to value this diversity and meet the needs of all its members.
Education - the solution for most of our needs is the right training and the right role models.
Education - invest in better public schools, support poor private schools not rich ones, support our University students and build better Universities.
Compassion for the less privileged - reduce the bonuses to corporate fliers and bring back funding for the mentally and physically disabled, the homeless, the elderly, refugees and real solutions for the indigenous.
